Member

Membership in ICST entitles members to actively participate in the society’s democratic processes, be recognized for promotion, and be rewarded for the participation. The free membership principle of ICST provides democratic access to science and professional growth regardless of geographic location social level or career development stage
Since membership is free, Members can immediately use on-line services, democratically propose and vote on new initiatives and apply to participation opportunities: at ICST Events, for ICST Publications and for other Society activities being promoted through AGORA.
 

 

Distinguished Member

ICST members can be promoted to the level of distinguished members through the recognized contribution to the scientific community as measured by the “UCount:”http://icst.org/ucount/ and through their participation in the development of the society activities. A necessary condition for qualifying for a promotion to distinguished member is the UCount level as determined by the membership council.

Fellow

ICST provides its members with the recognition of Fellow based on the recognized contribution to the scientific community as measured by the “UCount:”http://icst.org/ucount/ index and through their participation in the development of the society activities. A necessary condition for qualifying for a promotion to Fellow is the UCount level as determined by the membership council. The Awards Council will confer the Fellow status based on the above requirements under the condition that the total number of Fellows does not exceed the 0.1% of ICST membership.
