The aim of this STF is to recognize ICT as a pillar for sustainable economic and social benefit by harnessing ultra-fast internet and its application as a means to reach the remotest corner of the world thus enabling enhanced business, work and societal intercommunication. The advent of digital Economy is already paving us the road for a better quality of life, better healthcare, safer traffic and cleaner environments.Recogonising this,”ICT for good”; is an equal opportunity platform to address acute societal challenges of digital divide, computer illiteracy, integrating people with disabilities, Preserving the local heritage and moreover will act as a corridor for innovative ICT business models and solutions in public welfare.

Rajesh Kumar - Chair

Rajesh Kumar is currently working towards the master thesis at Telecom Italia labs under the framework of ARTIST-4G European FP7 project. He holds his master degree from Scuola Superiore Sant Anna, Pisa which he did under the Scholarship funded by Ministry of University and Research, Italy.Prior to joining Scuola Sant Anna, he worked at Schneider Electric, India as Project Engineer. He is also a recipient of Erasmus Mundus Scholarship by European Union.
His current research interests include Interference management in Wireless Networks, Dynamic Resource Allocation and Multiuser-MIMO systems. He is active proponent of strong Digital Economy and its impact on Common people. Email: contact 

 Besem Abid - Vice-Chair 

I am affiliated with Web programming and development of applications, interested in WSN and embedded system field. I especially appreciate the research world and life in laboratories where I can learn and expand my horizon. I am working in Retis Lab of Scuola superiore Sant Anna towards my Master degree, my main activity there, is related to Wireless sensor networks. My previous experience was in Tunisia where i join UTIC (Research Unit of Technologies of Information and Communication) for 2 years and where i develop many applications for deaf and blind people.
