SAT – Internet Technologies
Internet technologies have been a tremendous success, and will continue to play a critical role in our society. The mission of this SAT is to foster innovation and development in Internet technologies, which include network architectures, algorithms, protocols, applications, measurements, and experimentation. The SAT will establish an International forum to bring together researchers and practitioners from academics and industry and facilitate the exchange of new ideas and developments in this area.

Lili Qiu - Committee Chair
University of Virginia
Dr. Lili Qiu is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department of University of Texas at Austin. She received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1999 and 2001, respectively. She spent 2001-2004 at Microsoft Research Redmond as a researcher. Her research interests are in Internet and wireless networking, with special focuses on network management, overlay networks, protocol design, and performance analysis. Prof. Qiu is a recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award (2006). She plays an active role in professional services. She serves as an area editor for Mobile Computing and Communications Review (MC2R), a Technical Program Co-chair for Wireless Internet Conference (WICON) 2006, and a General Co-chair for WICON 2007. She also served as program committee members of many leading networking conferences, such as ACM MOBICOM, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDCS, ACM Multimedia, and ACM/USENIX IMC.
