SATs Overview

A SAT is a unit of the Society formed by Members with the aim to pursue significant long-term scientific activity in a technical specialty of interest to the Society. SATs provide forums and community for the exchange of technical information among members in the respective discipline and industries of computer sciences, social engineering and telecommunications engineering. SATs may represent either an identifiable segment of the computer sciences and telecommunication industries, or a discipline having applicability in different industries and functions. Each SAT is coordinated by its officers, including the Chair, the Vice Chair, the Publications, Events and Industry Liaison officers, but additional officers may also be called for to co-ordinate additional activity unique to a particular SATs need.
